With the development of the society, the specialization of the teacher has already become the subject of the times, especially in the new century. At present, a new round of curriculum reform is under way in our country. Whether a professional teacher group can be established or not is related to the result of the reform. Traditional teacher education pattern fails to establish a professional teacher group because it can hardly solve the problem of the sharing on educational and teaching practice and form shared culture, which is the bottleneck of teacher specialization. The study aims at putting forward a new teacher union pattern—the teacher professional community to form the shared teacher culture, share the teacher's educational and teaching practice and promote the teacher specialization. It mainly adopts literature research with case analysis and emphasizes particularly on the study of the essence about the teacher professional community.The study consists of six parts:Introduction part expounds the background of teacher professional community—teacher specialization, and clarifies the purpose, significance and methods;Part Two is about what the teacher professional community is? It reveals its essence by means of seeking the connotation on community.Part Three is about why we need the teacher professional community? It expounds its significance and value.Part Four is about how to establish the teacher professional community? It expounds its establishing strategy.Part Five is about the teacher professional community's practice. It helps us realize the teacher professional community's practice with two cases.Part Six is the conclusion. It expounds the innovation and lack, and expects continued research.
