Based on the bi-dimension theory of work family conflict together with its antecedent and consquent variables, this paper construts a model of work and family conflict.By using both qualitative and quantitative data, this paper compares the difference of work and family conflict in the manufacturing enterprises in this two Countries with spss and amos.Then,we can put forward effective measures to banlance the work and family conflict.Firstly,after reviewing the meanings of work and family conflict and three classical model of work and family conflict, we bring forward the antecedent variables (work and family involvement, work and family load and work and family autonomy) and consequent variables(work and family satisfaction and life satisfaction) about work and family conflict and construt a model of work and family conflict according to the questionnaire.Besides this, we also put forward four hypothesizes, and each hypothesis has two small hypotheses.Secondly,we do factor analysis with spss and get the antecedent and consequent variables we need.We campare the differences of work and family conflict in manufacturing companies in China and Canada with four demographic characteristics. Thirdly, we construct model with amos. We input the data of China and Canada into the model and compare the correlated and regressive relationship among the variables in these two models in order to verifying the hypotheses.Finally, we analysize the result with theory and practice and bring forward the measure of banlancing work and family.In this paper, four hypotheses are verified.There is direct and positive relation between work involvement and work to family conflict,as well as family involvement and family to work conflict. There is a negative and direct relationship between work autonomy and work to family conflict, there also is a negative and direct relationship between family autonomy and family to work conflict. There is a positive and direct relationship between work load and work to family conflict, there also is a positive and direct relationship between family load and family to work conflict.There is a negative and direct relationship between work satisfaction and work to family conflict, there also is a negative and direct relationship between family satisfaction and family to work conflict.But we also find that some of the small hypotheses are wrong.The relationship between the work and family conflict variables in China is different from that in Canada.By doing further analysis,we find that it is because the difference of these two Countries'culture and policy.When comparing the two models with amos,we find that there are two antecedent variables which are work amd family involvement and work and family autonomy have direct effect on work and family satisfaction,but there is only one antecedent variable which is work and family involvement has direct dffect on work and family satisfaction.Meanwhile, the results of this research may contribute to the understanding of the work and family conflict in China and Canada, and also enhance the understanding of cultural influence on the work and family conflict.
