Since the theory of multi-intelligence was brought in our country, it has attracted the close attention of educational circles and society. Because it is astonishingly similar to the principle of education for all-round development, educationalists have accepted the theory and it has become one of the theoretical supports of the new course reform of our country. According to the theory of multi-intelligence we know that everybody owns diverse intelligence and that each intelligence is equally important. However, in the process of the physics teaching, the carrier of the informational communication between the teachers and the students is a language. The students comprehend the knowledge that the teachers teach through a language, the teachers carry on teaching through a language, and the teachers also accept the feedback through the students'language. So the physics language is the essential condition that the students need to obtain physics knowledge and it is also the premise to develop the thinking ability of the students. The development of Physics language intelligence plays an important part in the physics teaching, which can't be replaced by others.According to the ideas of the theory of multi-intelligence and the important part that language intelligence plays in physics teaching, this text tries to define the physics language and carry on research into developing the physics language intelligence of high school students. The text expounds the views of the writer through the two parts. One is how to promote teachers'physics speech and the other is how to develop the physics language intelligence of students .
