Nowdays,Chinese society changes fast and strongly, which need us to mold the ideal personality positively that suit to this change. College students are the social cadremen, their ideal personality can affect the whole social spirit profoundly and decisive.molding the contemporary college students'ideal personality means molding motherland's future. The students'personality doesn't adapt to the social fact that is changing greatly. This represents the following: subjective is weak, utilitarianism is serious, creationary is scantily, transcendency is lacking. This need to mold ideal personality positively that suit to the social developmentThis thesis is on the base of the problem of molding the college students'ideal personality, and points out that the following can affect and restrict the students'ideal personality: rapid change of the society, disadvantages of the university management system, changing and difficulties of employment of college students, failure of family education, transformation of contemporary social values, deficiency of contemporary college students'personality. It sums up the concepts of personality and the ideal personality, and chooses the philosophic angle of human value characteristic. On the basis of the concepts, it counts for the traits of the students'ideal personality which combine with the practice: subjective, morality, innovation, harmoniousness. Then, this thesis discussed the gist of molding the students'ideal personality. Finally, this thesis expounds the principle and approach of molding the students'ideal personality, and discusses the principle of molding the students'ideal personality, bring forward some ways of structuring the college students'ideal personality: enhance and improve the college moral education, improve environment of structuring the college students'ideal personality and upgrade the student's ability of self- structuring.
