Objective In order to provide basis for AIDS health education ,we get the informationabout the college students ' AIDS knowledge sources, AIDS knowledge, attitudes andbehaviors.Methods proceed the survey of AIDS knowledge and attitudes by questionnaire waybefore and after organized multi-media lectures on students, and analyze by Excel,SPSS10.0 software.Results The college students' AIDS knowledge primarily comes from doctors andteachers,newspapers and magazines and television and broadcast. Most students havelearned three major routes of AIDS transmission (>90%). Low rate was acquired aboutwhether everyday touch could cause AIDS. For example, bitten by insects couldn'tspread only contains 29.8%. Most students discriminate AIDS patients and infectors. Theresults of the general Linear model indicated that grade, speciality , gender are the maineffects on AIDS'S knowledge; and the main effects on attitude towards HIV/AIDS; Bythe health education, most students have learned the system knowledge aboutAIDS ,change their attitudes to AIDS patients and infections, and dissolve theirunnecessary tension.Conclusion Most students have mastered the knowledge about AIDS partly and hadfairly right attitude. It's an urgent task to enhance publicity and education on AIDSprevention and treatment.
