Sinology Academy in Qing Dynasty is a unique academic type since Qing Dynasty.It regards sinology as the main teaching content and research object.Its germination, development and flourish in Jiangsu and Zhejiang in the 18th century representatives that Academy not only inherit and exert the tradition function of cultural education organization mechanism,but also express the new trend of regarding the academic specialization as the target,show the notable differences with the Exam Style Academy which accounted for a big proportion in Qing Dynasty and took the major of learning eight-part essay and took imperial examinations as the study target.Its development and flourish is the innegligible and important power of promoting the development and spread of sinology—important academic thinking in Qing Dynasty and has been the important base for cultivating the research talents of sinology.At present,the research on Sinology Academy in Qing Dynasty is still at the stage of case scattered analysis research,and the research from the direction of Academy development history in Qing Dynasty on the basis of bringing it into the integrity is still a blank.The comprehensive review on the development course of Sinology Academy in Qing Dynasty can more clearly understand the place and value of the Sinology Academy in the whole development history of Academy in Qing Dynasty and its important influence on sinology thinking of Qing Dynasty.On the basis of analyzing the times background of the foundation of Sinology Academy,though the analysis on the representative case,the article focuses on disclosing three stages of the development of Sinology Academy:the inchoation stage with the representative of Ziyang Academy,the development stage with the representative of Zhongshan Academy,the development and flourishing stage with the representative of Gujingjingshe Academy,it has showed complete course,features and meaning of the development of the Sinology Academy.Summarize the important experience accumulated in development history of more than one hundred years of Sinology Academy:pursuing the target for running an academy;creating the free and open teaching atmosphere; advocating the teaching spirit of being practical and realistic;building the teaching mode of combining the teaching and research.State the practice influence and meaning of Sinology Academy:cultivating the sinology talents,promoting the sinology development; creating the new style of academy,promoting the education reform;recording the writings and publications to promoting the cultural development.And state the reference meaning of Sinology Academy to Today's higher education,also obtain several revelations: changing the traditional teaching mode:independence study,combination of teaching and research;advocating the teaching spirit of being practical and realistic;study with heart, strict and self-discipline;creating the loose academy atmosphere:doors open,many academic thoughts competing.The topic will adopt the method of combining the literature research and theory explanation,utilize the relevant,database and historic literature collected materials on academy research to arrange and analyze the collected relevant material literature,and make the theory statement on this basis;adopt the method of analysis and comparison to conduct comparison and research on the representative academies in different period during the development course of the Sinology Academy,though comparison and research to demonstrate its historic position and valuation.Sinology Academy has inherited the good tradition of ancient academy in its formulation and development.Its combined target of education and morality expresses the valuation view of upholding morality and study serious of ancient Chinese intellectuals,is the life basis of the academic education;Its talents cultivation view,free and lively teaching style,created open tolerance have expressed the tough academy pursuing and broad ambition and mind of ancient Chinese intellectuals in the times of popular imperial examination and thinking durance,it's the most outstanding feature of the academic education;its teaching spirit of being practical and realistic and its well-knit and religious study style have showed the scientific standard and good style and features of academic education,it's the coagulation of the soul and thinking of educationists;its practice concept has deeply expressed the social responsibility "Take responsibility for all common people" of ancient Chinese intellectuals,and it's the perfect combination of individual study and contribution to society.Summarizing the experience of running an academy of Sinology Academy will provide some thinking resources for modem college education.For example,thinking from the education system,it has the contribution for establishing Chinese multi-academic thinking of private college,research institute and folk institute;thinking from the education concept,it acts the self-questioning action on the various problems occurring in colleges,such as the lack of the modem college spirit,the fickleness style formed in teaching;thinking from the teaching method,its internal reason,unique research type teaching mode formed by the teaching atmosphere,focusing on thinking independently, self-study,paying attention to the understanding and communication between the students and teachers,have provided the history resources which can be made use of by us for reforming the rigescent teaching mode and the establishment of free,equal and open study style and also the form of religious and factualistic study style.We believe these profound cultural sedimentation showed by the Sinology Academy combining modern education concept which are running through whole high education development course,will promote our education career to be a new stage.
