Cooperative learning is initiated as one of the learning styles in curriculum reform, It is a process of learning theory and strategy system, which means students collaborate with each other to complete the specific and common tasks in the learning process, taking teams or groups as the basic organizational form, between the students and teachers, students and students. In the school teaching, cooperative learning has often been adopted and applied, and both has advantageous and negative effects in the use of teaching. This paper investigates and analyzes the natural state of cooperative learning in teaching, by questionnaires and interviews, and obtains a more detailed and reliable data and information, in order to promote to carry out and implement cooperative learning more effectively.This article consists of three parts:The first part of this article is theory part. Focusing on the content of cooperative learning, the basic elements of cooperative learning, the theoretical foundation for cooperative learning, the basic steps of cooperative learning, the main value and misunderstanding of cooperative learning.The second part of the main part of this article. This part investigates on different levels of two secondary schools in six classes by questionnaires and interviews, and based on the data analyzes whether the schools carry out cooperative learning, the state of grouping, the division of cooperative learning, respective roles of middle school students, teachers effect and the pros and cons of cooperative learning.The third part is the summary of this article. On the basis of preamble of the theory explanation and empirical research, this part summarizes the issues and direction in the cooperative learning.
