With the rapid development of informational advancement, great changes have taken place in education, including ideological concept,teaching way and teaching concent and so on. Facing the requirement both of education system and informational society, we have to pay more attention to train information literacy of college students. But as the elementary educational teacher, information literacy of students in normal university will relate to innovation talented person and informational person in the future. In order to adapt in the future society's steep competition, student in normal university must have good thought personal character,the solid specialty elementary knowledge and the health body, and also must grasp the modern education thought and the modern education technology. Only through like this, the student can be competent prospective teacher's work, can adapt challenge which the educational reform brings. As the cradle of training teachers, the normal university must thread up the time pulse, take the positive effective measure, train the new type teachers who adapt times and social development need for elementary education.This article through the investigation of computer elementary education curriculum's present situation in Xinjiang normal universities, research the question which exists about the information literacy education curriculum provision aspect, and propose the computer curriculum provision plan which suits Xinjiang normal universities. Regarding 12 specialized general education specialized of normal university, according to information technology's request and every major characteristic, divide the 12 general education into three class: the liberal arts class,the science subjects class and the art class , and proposed"the 3+X+ software package"curriculum system. In these three levels,"3"are《Computer application core》+《Information theory knowledge》+《computer courseware manufactures》;"X"is the computer foundation class curriculum《(programming foundation》,《database》,《multimedia》,《Computer hardware technology》,《computer network application》);"specialized software package"is software package related to each specialized. And in the process of curriculum provision construction, pay more attention to the importance of raising the student practical ability.Finally we make a summary to the present paper, summarize the present paper research work briefly, and point out this research's innovation and the deficiency, show further studies and the direction diligently.
