Research On The Development Strategies For Internationalization Of Postgraduate Education

Graduate education which is the important component of higher education performs a vital role for the development of a country,'s economy,politics and culture.With the advent of globalization and informationization,the need for integrated talents who possess international consciousness,strong intelligence and perfect innovation is growing.Therefore,the internationalization of higher education especially the internationalization of graduate education has become an irreversible trend in the field of education,and gradually been focused by the world.The United States who advocates the internationalization,of higher education strongly has accumulated a lot of enlightening experience with great influence in the world.The thesis aims to draw on the referential experience of the U.S,and put forward the strategies with Chinese characteristics to promote the internationalization development of graduate education. The thesis consists of four parts:Chapter one introduces research background,research significance,research status, research ideas and research methods.Chapter two firstly explored the development history of the internationalization of graduate education in China with the document analysis.Secondly,it represented the developing situation from the aspect of the state,university,teachers and students.Thirdly,it found the problems at present.Chapter three adopted Yale University as the main research object to analyze the referential experience of the internationalization of graduate education in American universities from the aspects of legal system,the international training measures,personnel exchange activities and so on.Chapter four put forward a series of related suggestions to provide a new idea for the internationalization of graduate education in Chinese universities,which combined with Chinese national conditions and referenced the advanced experience of the United States.
