The Comparative Analysis On The Major Technical Parameters Between Men's National Basketball Team Of China And Other Stronger Teams In The 15th FIBA World Championship

With more than 100 years development from the naissance in US in 1891, modern basketball movement has combined rivalship, entertainment and body-exercise together and shared by people all around the world. Nowadays, the technique and aesthetic aspects of basketball has enhanced a lot in the whole world. Especially, in the 21century, the trend of globalization of this kind of movement is obvious and the agonistic intercourses are more and more. While the level and the difference between each team has lessened.The modern basketball movement was introduced to Tianjin in 1895 and experienced a slow development. After 1949, with the solicitude from the chief of our state , basketball developed fast and got excellent achievement and also appeared some outstanding players for example Qian Chenghai, Yang Boyong and so on. In the late 20th century, with the great development and professional standardization, a lot of excellent players appeared for example Wang Zhizhi, Yao Ming, Yi Jianlian and so on. The level of our team has improved a lot. But the result of our men's basketball team is so gloomy in recent 10 years. In 1996, we got the 8th place while in 2006 just 15th place in which we can even see the retrograde evidence. Especially in the 15th FIBA World Championship, we know clearly the differences between our men's basketball team and other strong team in the world and we have to admit that our team has been dropped behind.This thesis aims to make comparative analysis on the technical parameters between Men's National Basketball Team of China and its opponents in order to find the differences and offer some strategies to reduce those differences. Those researches maybe provide academic value for enhancing the level of our team and let it break through the historical results in the 2008 Olympic Games.
