The bicycle sport,as an important part of athletic sports,is an Olympic item earlyer.There is still a obvious research disparity between China which is popular with bicycle and the developed countries. Therefore,this thesis tries to improve Chinese bicycle sport through the research of the variability of muscle oxygenation and sEMG by riding with different transmission ratio.By researching the effection of different transmission ratio on muscular activity level,we can provide theoretic according as framing appropriate training method.male trained cyclists about 19 years old engaging professional training for 2~3 years were tested at four transmission ratios(48:13,47:13,47:14,46:14).Every athlete ride bicycle on wind clumber platform as every transmission raito for 60s.The muscle oxygenation was recorded from the right rectus femoris,and the sEMG activity was recorded from the right erector spinae,gluteus maximus,rectus femoris,vastus lateralis,vastus medialis,biceps femoris,gastrocnemius medial part and tibialis anterior while testees were performing the bicycle movement. Photograph data was collected at the same time.The result showed that:1.The instance dippeared similarly at various transmission ratio,which muscle oxygenation decreased rapidly at first,decreased slowly in the course and resumed immediately after the end.2.Muscle oxygenation decreased more rapidly with high transmission ratio(48:13,47:13)than low transmission ratio(47:14,46:14).3.The instance dippeared similarly at various transmission ratio,which IEMG changed unconspicuously at first,increased slowly in the course and increased immediately at the end. 4.The muscle's MF at high transmission ratio was less than low transmission ratio.The value of iEMG was opposite to muscle's MF exactly, the muscle's iEMG at high transmission ratio was less than low transmission ratio.5.The relationship between muscle oxygenation and iEMG was obvious negative correlation at various transmission ratio.The relationship between muscle oxygenation rhythm of the heart was obvious negative correlation at high transmission ratio only.This accounted for the relativity of muscle oxygenation and muscle activity.Exercise with high transmission ratio has more influence to the system of heart and blood vessel,increasing organism aerobics metabolizability.Conclusions:Exercise with high transmission ratio can congregate muscle fibre furthest at short time,so it can be made use of increasing muscle power.Muscle oxygenation and sEMG can reflect muscle activity during exercise, so muscle oxygenation can be made use of inspection and validation about bicycle exercise effect.
