Analysis Of The Evolution Of Sports Industrial Structure And Its Optimization

The industrial structure, which is a structure of relationship and a mode of connection, links technology and economy between industries and reflects a national industrial ratio and its trend. The economic development of countries around the world shows that there is an obvious rule in the evolution of industrial structure with the improvement of the level of economic development. As a concept extended from the industrial structure, sports industrial structure refers to the technical and economic ties and quantitative proportion between sports lines of production. It reflects not only the interdependence and interaction in techniques of production of various productive sectors supplying sporting goods and sports services but how all economic resources (including sports resources) are allocated and how the sports industry output value is distributed in each department. There is a close connection in the evolution between sports industrial structure and the whole national industrial structure.This study combines western theories of industrial structure with theoretical achievements of Chinese scholars' application research on sports industrial structure, and adopts the combination of methods such as: document analysis, comparative studies and logical reasoning. It inspects the characteristics of China' s sports industrial structure' s evolution, analyzes the defects and causes. According to this paper, rationalization and sophistication are inevitable choices to the optimization of China's sports industrial structure, and it also provides effective recommendations for making policies to optimize sports industrial structure.This paper is divided into four chapters. First, it roughly analyzes the relationship between the evolution of industrial structure and economic growth. Combined with the practice of many developed countries and newly industrialized countries, it also analyzes general rules of evolution of the industrial structure from the view of the process of industrialization, the conversion process of leading industries and the evolution order of the industrial structure. In chapter II, through inspecting the evolution characteristics of China' s sports industrial structure during different historical periods, this study focuses on the defects of the current sports industrial structure as well as the reasons leading to such defects. Combined with the analysis above, chapter III lays an emphasis on the content and implementation process of the rationalization of sports industrial structure, the motivation and mechanism of sports sophistication and the choice of the main sports industry. Hence, it puts forward that rationalization and sophistication are inevitable choices to the optimization of China' s sports industrial structure. In chapter IV, based on the foregoing study, this study provides many recommendations for making policies on the following aspects: to make scientific development planning for sports industry, to improve the mechanism for investment and financing in the sports market, to constitute the macro-control measures, to strengthen the building of sports facilities, to establish and complete sports management personnel training system, and to further improve the sports market system and so on.
