PE plays an important role in the school's education, and the development of this major will promote the educational goal's realization in the field of PE, and ensure the PE goal's realization,so it should be developed and reformed constantly from the aspects of the educational goal and the need of society. With its innate law and characteristic, football takes up a larger space in PE, which makes the teaching of football course become more important. In the process of PE's reform, besides the further study in teaching system, people also made bold improvement and innovation in teaching methods. In teaching process, Student is the main part, and also the center for all the improvement and innovation in teaching methods, hence, teaching can be achieved only with the students'full subjective efforts. The study of target-fixed theory shows that fixed task can stir students'direct interest, as opposed to self direction, which may result in a decrease of the inner motivation. In accordance with the situation that some PE majors'indefinite learning objective and insufficient efforts lead to their scanty knowledge, combined with the law and characteristic of the football, helps students to strengthen understanding of technology studied and application ability , can feedback result of teaching in time , make professor link and study link to be corresponding joining, make the teaching course reach and perfect and systematized, building the relevant system of score evaluation and guiding students to determine the psychological orientation about fixed task, target-fixed theory can fulfill its teaching objective better and provide new reference for the teaching of football in future.
