For many years, many foreign language learning researches have concerned emotional factors. In these emotional factors, anxiety has become the focus which arrested many researchers' attention. The anxiety degree directly influences foreign language learners' study effect. However, there are very few researches on students' classroom anxiety. Especially, we can hardly find researches on the relationship between students' classroom anxiety and teacher's classroom behavior. English classroom teaching is a rather complex process. Furthermore, classroom teaching is completed by interaction between teacher and students. During the process, teacher's classroom behavior is especially important. Thus it is of great practical significance to research how to adjust students' foreign language classroom anxiety through regulating teacher's classroom behavior. With the reform of military academies, it will grow more and more important to foster sergeant students. While sergeant students' anxiety is a serious problem: on the one hand, there exist significance differences among their English foundations because of their different learning state before they joined the army; on the other hand, as soldiers, sergeant students regard obedience to order as their first duties and regard observation of discipline as their own mission. These facts cause sergeant students to be in higher anxiety in their English classroom. Combining previous research achievements, this thesis analyzes teacher's classroom behavior greatly influencing students' English classroom anxiety according to several theories, such as Krashen's affective filter hypothesis, humanism education theory, constructivism theory, and social interactionism theory. Furthermore, the author carried out an experiment based on the classroom of sergeant students and found out the effective regulating strategies of teacher's classroom behavior for adjusting the anxiety state of sergeant students, which is a meaningful attempt to improve teaching quality and efficiency of sergeant students' English classroom in military academies, and to train modern high-quality talents for national defense.
