| The 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing has been successfully concluded,and the three Olympic dreams of Chinese people have been realized.We are very familiar with the great historical process how China successfully got the right of holding the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.However,the process of how China sent athlete to participate in the Olympic Games for the first time is still unknown.And the studies about its historical value are unknown, either.Taking the process of how China sent Liu Changchun to participate in the 10th Olympic Games as the main line,using literature and theory research,the article's main aims are to reveal China's true motives,tortuous process and true historical significance.The body of chapter 1 tells us that,from the moment of the National Government founded to the 10th Olympic Games period,the Government's attitude on sport changed from the development of laissez-faire to taking over.Chapter 2 analyzes the tortuous process of how China sent Liu Changchun to participate in the 10th Olympic Games.Chapter 3 reveals the historical value of Liu Changchun's participation in the 10th Olympic Games instead of China and the reason of failure.All parts of the article closely reviewed the history that China's operation of sending Liu Changchun to participate in Olympic Games,and got the conclusions:first,Liu Changchun finished the first of Chinese people's three Olympic dreams;second,the process changed from participation in a big game into a political movement between countries,and the person who operated it changed from the government to China National Amateur Athletic Federation and Chinese people;third,the success of being one country in Olympic Games can't be separated from the newspapers,media,the voice of the people and social groups,the contribution of Shen Siliang,Zhang Xueliang's money,Liu Changchun's patriotism,and the co-ordination of China National Amateur Athletic Federation.It is a result of hard-working of all parts and Chinese people's patriotism.
