This research is on the base of rich literature data,and uses the method of nature research which is widespread used in the social sciences research.Through the deep interview and site observation,this research describes and analyses how Left-behind Children in Rural China seek help to solve academic problems.Findings:The Left-behind Children in Rural China seek academic help under the motivation of study anxious,enhancement of academic record,and the emotion consoles.The main problem is about knowledgeable questions in the study,the study program and study method and the emotional questions which are brined by the academic confusion.The main ways to solve problems are to listen to teachers,discuss with schoolmates,refer to the homework of schoolmates or answers in the teaching materials,seek the emotion help. The helpers whom Left-behind Children in Rural China choose should have the certain qualities:fair,friendly,helpful.Moreover,these helpers should have abundantly time.The good interpersonal relationships,the harmonious and secure class atmosphere are required by Left-behind Children in Rural China in seeking environment.Finally,based on the features of academic help seeking,this research gives some consultative suggestions of how to improve effectiveness of Left-behind Children's academic help seeking.
