Research On College Students' Network Moral Education In A Newly Built University

The 21st century is the century of information, marked by popularity and development of network. The popularity of network and the expansion of netizens have brought profound impact on the society. Great changes are being caused in political, economic, cultural and other fields due to the popularity of network. However, network is a double-edged sword. Not only are there flowers and applauses in the Internet world, but also traps and tricks. As physical and mental immature college students, they more often lack of sensible judgement and sober recognition before Internet traps; therefore, they're more likely to indulge in the Internet. What's more, many unhealthy and uncivilized things online have already had severe impact on physical and mental development of university students. They have done much harm to students'health, resulting in the emergence of network moral anomie problems such as diluted moral consciousness, inappropnate moral behavior and indifferent moral emotion. Such phenomena are often seen on the Internet: listening to rumors and disseminating false information; insulting and abusing others at the forum or chatting room; browsing and spreading pornographic information; promoting voilence and addicting to online games; transmitting network viruses and carrying out malicious attacks against other's websites; playing network tricks and defaming others,etc.University students are the future and hope of building their homeland. The network moral anomie reflects a new trend of current college students'moral development. It is bound to bring tremendous impact on the whole moral quality and level, which must be attached high importance to by our whole society. Meanwhile, we should have a clearer understanding whether we take effective measures or not is directly related to healthy development of students'future. The reason is that they are in the critical period of the formation of world, life and value outlook. Moreover, the plasticity of their ideologically moral and mental qualities id great. Therefore, the education of network mental qualities to college students can't be delayed; as for university students'network moral status, a comprehensive understanding and analysis must be conducted, which should become one of the top priorities for our educators. To take effective measures, it's necessary for us to carry out the analysis and research with regard to university students'network moral development and to seed for the root of its existing problems.The questionaire, literature, analysis of inductive method, case interviews, etc. are mainly used in this paper. Through investigation, research, analysis of students'network moral status questionaire and exchanging information among students in the ordinary work, together with the relevent literature,and works, network morality and network moral anomie are defined; performance of university students'network moral anomie is summarized; characteristics of it are summed up; reasons of it are analysed and response mechanisms with specific measures are proposed.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the urgent research on university students'network moral anomie problems. Here, network morality and moral anomie are defined with research and analysis of the status questionaire conducted; the second section is the analysis of moral anomie characteristics, summarizing four features of it, namely, a multiplicity of moral personality, confusion of moral standard and value conception, derivation of moral cognition and behavior, indifference of moral emotions; the third is about the causes of the problem, seeing from the perspective of both objective and subjective analysis; five measures of building college students network mechanism are proposed in the last part.
