The proportions of the 6 placements to the number of service in the old and new competition format are of no significant difference,which means the new competition format has little impact of the placements of service. The backcourt techniques are used mainly among the return of services in new Women's competition format,while the proportions of smash and hooking experience notable growth.The backcourt techniques experience some decrease,middle-court increase and forecourt no notable change.
