In Chinese history, family injunction has great importance in reflecting the family-education thoughts of people in ancient China and can be utilized as systematic and complete materials in researching such kind of thoughts. This paper is wished to rebuild the moral-related education functions of modern family by collecting and analyzing family injunction materials in ancient China and absorbing useful education thoughts in such materials, based upon researches in family education from the viewpoint of ancient family injunction.The researches in this paper are mainly done by analyzing the family injunction materials. Two ways are adopted in doing research in this article. One is by making quantitative analysis of family injunction materials and making statistics of the number of materials, the identities of authors, the coverage of regions as well as the dynasty in which the authors lived. The other one is by concluding the evolving history of family injunction based on the sequences of dynasty.The first part of this article makes analysis on the education traget and author groups of family injunction to produce an overall perspective of family injunction on the basis of the statistics of the number, and the demonstration of evolving history of family injunction. the second part mainly focuses on undertanding the education thoughts of family injunction; the third part makes the visions of this article switched to current society for the purpose of applying the moral-related education theories in acient China to modern family education and rebuilding the moral-related education functions of modern family.Despite the fact that history materials are used in the research, this article is not limited in doing research on the history itself, rather, this paper is wished to get history experience applied in current society. The purpose of this article is to extract the essence and reveal the characteristics of family education thoughts in ancient China. This paper is further wished to summarize the useful thoughts of family injunction and prove the rationality and practicability of such traditional family education thoughts. The final goal of this article is to analyze the functions of family education in current society and reconsider the enhancement of the important position that family has in the process of moral-related education of the youth.
