Comparative Research On Chinese And Foreign Colleges' Student Financial Assistance System

With the advancement of education reform,the Higher Institutes have Changed the past policy of Centralized admission and unified distribution system, and free education for gradual progress towards the education fees.colleges expand their recruitment scale,charge for senior education is rising yearly.The number of college students with finaneial diffieulties has been sharply increased with the tuition system reform.This finaneial Problem becomes the stumbling block of the development of higher edueation and influences the stability of universities.In order to achieve Education Fair,and help more students enjoy the opportunities for higher education,govemment sets up and improves the system of university funding constantly.Series of relevant supporting policies and measures have been established by our national department.The mixed finaneial–aid system has come into being,which contains"national scholar ship policy,national loan policy for schooling,jobs for schooling policy,subsidy for spceial diffieulties policy,tuition lightening and exempting policy and green passage policy".In this paper,author introduced the evolution and synthesis of college Student Financial Assistance system in the world, based on the general trend devolopment of whole world summarying our country's college funding system policy, introducing the status and defects of our current funding system, and then,compared the differences of concept,methods and management of Student Financial Assistance system in the Unite Kingdom,Japan,the United States,Singapore and Australia with our country existing policy. Based on contrasting at home and abroad system,and recent years our country's status system reforming experience,an make some recommendations to improve student financial assistance system. On tuition standards, poor students that the system, the financing sources of funding, scholarships, work-study mechanism design student loans and personal credit system,etc. still need to be improved to express my views, We raised suggestions and revelations to reformation of college imbursement system.
