The Current Situation, Problems And Solutions On Cultivating Of Higher Education Postgraduate In Northwest Normal University

In recent years, higher education in China has been made its rapid improvement; the enrollment of higher education graduates has been expanded. Along with the development of higher education in China and the change of required Professionals in higher education, there are lots of Problems in cultivating model of higher education postgraduates, which have affected the quality of cultivating graduate students.Therefore, How to change and improve work of cultivating higher education postgraduates is an essential task to be settled in postgraduate education The thesis takes Northwest Normal University as the focal points, through the questionnaire survey and individual interviews of higher education postgraduates in this school, summed up the current status from the four aspects, such as training objective, courses offerings and teaching methods, teacher guidance and thesis, comprehensive ability and the link with future career requirement. Then pointed out the main problems in the current such as the idea of education is not clear, leading to training target can not meet the needs of the community; lack of funding, the relative scarcity of educational resources; scientific research system is unreasonable, the ability training of practice of postgraduate hard to indemnity; inadequate training system of higher education postgraduates, and depth analyzed the causes of these problems. According to the theory of cooperative education, combined with the practical training of postgraduates in Northwest Normal University, proposed some feasible suggestions such as further defining aim of the training of higher education graduate; mobilizing all parties of the enthusiasm and expanding educational resources; taking ways to promote ability of research and practice of higher education postgraduate; improving professional training of the higher education postgraduate. The thesis closely combines with own characteristics of the Northwest Normal University, puts forward some concrete proposals. Hope to provide some useful reference for the study of higher education postgraduate education in China.
