Writing teaching is an important component of language teaching .Meanwhile, revise of students writing, which is difficult and demanding, is the crucial part of it. The traditional way always puts the teacher on the dominant position where students are forced to act as passive information receivers. Throughout the whole course, the teacher orders the student, who accepts passively, to look at their own writings and just listen to his or her revising. Changing of this situation demands a determined effort to establish a new concept of composition teaching, which gives back the right of assessing to students and allows them to exchange their own comments on the writing. On one hand, it helps students to learn from each other in the evaluating. On the other hand, it emancipates teachers form the heavy work of composition revising, gives teachers more time to devote to the research of writing teaching and develops student's writing skill.Based on the present status of the marking of students'work in middle school, this research attempts to find possible improvement of composition marking. This may give some solutions to the bottleneck dilemma of the revising of students'articles as well as an effective exploration for future writing teaching.Aiming to offer strategies and the suggestions on the improvement of writing revising, this research mainly focus on the discussion from the aspects of students'self-evaluating of their won writings, students'mutual revising and teachers'remarking to promote students interests in composition writing. Writing revise should not be viewed neither as the finally judgment of students'performance nor the ending of writing teaching. It should be an expansion and complement for teachers'guidance of students'writing. The teaching of writing functions as the role of information-exchanger between students and the teacher. For the students, they obtain writing skills freely. While for teachers, they discover problems existing in their teaching according to students'feedback during this procedure and improve their teaching correspondingly.
