| Industrial structure is an eternal theme of modern economics; Disciplinary structure is the material and basis of personnel training in higher education. The relationship between economy and education become closer and closer, as the micro-reflecting, the relationship between industrial structure and disciplinary structure also has closer relevance. The industrial structure is evolving; correspondingly, the disciplinary structure should be appropriate to make timely adjustments to meet industry requirements. But now, "disciplines and work do not match" and other phenomena indicate that the disciplinary structure of higher education do not meet the requirements of our industrial structure, there are some problems on disciplinary structure settings. How to make disciplinary structure adjustment keep up with the pace of industrial structure, and how to make university talents trained meet the requirements of industrial structure development are the problems to be committed resolved in this paper.The objects of this study are three major industries and six disciplinary graduates of undergraduate college (including the master's and doctorate), specialized college, network university and adult college. Based on the review of evolution of China's industrial structure and discipline structure, this paper points out that China's industrial structure will experiences pattern changes from "one, two, three" by "two, three, one" to "three, two, one", accordingly, universities'disciplinary structure should be adjusted to accommodate industrial structure. By the questionnaire of relationship between university disciplines and employment, more than 90 percent of college graduates believe that the discipline should be relevant with the work, and they indeed engaged in the practical work related to disciplines, which has proved the close relations between industry structure and disciplinary structure.On the basis of qualitative analysis of relationship between industrial structure and discipline structure, this paper does scatter plot matrix, correlation analysis and regression analysis between proportion value of the three major industries and the proportion value of six disciplinary graduates in four colleges. The results are as follows:humanities, economics and management, educational disciplines and the third industry have a high correlation; medical, educational disciplines and the secondary industry have a high correlation; agronomy, science and engineering disciplines and the first industry have a high correlation. Then, this paper builds a relationship model of industrial structure and disciplinary structure, thus it laid a foundation for the forecast of universities' disciplinary structure.For how to handle the relationship between China's industrial structure and universities' disciplinary structure, some suggestions and countermeasures in the perspective of state and government, universities, employers and students are given in this article. |
