The wide use of information technology has caused a huge change in China's education field. Despite the effort to engage teachers in the informatization of education, a lot of problems have emerged during this process, e.g. the low performance/cost ratio, the"technology-oriented"idea and the separation of training from practice. These problems can't be solved by only changing the external form of training without considering teachers as the subject of informatization of education. Emotion is the essence of human beings. By probing into teachers'emotions as the starting point to discover teachers'hearts, we can find the origin of these problems.But traditional researches on emotions have the tendency of rationalism and scientism. They ignored the importance of emotions or just studied them using the"thing"research method, without considering the differences between human beings and the mechanical objects of natural science. Thus the results gained are"ameaningful". As a substitutive method, phenomenological research approach emphasizes the living experience, holding the attitude of"go back to things themselves". With this attitude, German scholar Max Scheler found the transcendental essence of emotion and the order of emotion and value, which offer valuable ideas for this paper.The phenomenological research attitude and method mean achieving meaning through reflecting life experience and making the meaning appear by itself. The Internet provides teachers a platform to express their emotions and feelings in a free way. The story published in teachers'blogs is used as the research resources to investigate the essence of teachers'feelings to the informatization of education. The informatization of teacher education means on one hand the utilization of IT in teacher education, on the other hand, the improvement of teachers'information literacy. The materials gathered include both sides.Teachers'cognitions on IT training are depended on their interest. Love is the foundation of interest. Love defines the relationship between human and the world as the world attracts human in the form of value and is the premises of other emotions. There's an order of love, in which people prefer mental and spiritual feeling to sensual and physical feeling. This order finds expression in teachers'sacrifice of physical value to the educational value. But the order of love could be reversed, which is called"a disorder of heart"in Scheler's words. When teachers come into contact with IT by the call of love and find it can help realize the educational value, they get a happy feeling. When the training does little help to improve education but teachers are forced to take part in it, they show negative emotions such as resentment. When teachers pursue personal interests instead of educational value, they always get bored in the training because they don't care about the contents, which is an example of"the disorder of heart".Corresponding to the order of love, there is an order of value which from low to high are sensual value, physical value, mental value and spiritual value. The specialty of the value of IT is that it is the derivative value, which means that it can help realize different levels of the basic values. The flexibility of the value of IT determines that it could help educational value as well as the lower values pursued by teachers of"the disorder of heart". When a teacher use IT in order to get a promotion or make their class seem professional, he is pursuing a low level value instead of a higher one. To rehabilitate the order of teacher's heart is the most important thing in the process of informatization of teacher education.The disorder of heart is presented as the distortion of self identity. In modern society, the distortion of self identity springs from the modern temperament, in which people indulge in the pleasures of the senses and controllability of technologies. Teachers in modern temperament pursue the vanity and technology instead of educational value. The only way out is to affect people's hearts by person apotheosis. Person is the center of mental activity. There is person apotheosis in each of the four levels of values. The person apotheosis attracts people's emotion in an unenforceable way. People can choose the person apotheosis freely except for person apotheosis of the holy value. The holy value is of supreme worth. The unconditional recognition of holy value is faith. The modern people's lack of faith is because of their failure to find the order of value. To rebuild the educational faith thus to renew the order of teacher's heart is the only way to solve the problems in the informatization of teacher education.
