Teaching Staff Construct is the important task of educational reform and development, even one of the core tasks in Institutions of Higher Education.With the development of education, universities are trying to exposure characteristics and raise the level combining their own characteristics. This is also reflected in the professional requirements of teachers and in the guidance of professional development of teachers. In accordance with the guidance of the principles, this article will proposed an effective way to help teachers grow, combined with the characteristics of both theory and practice in agriculture and forestry Universities, highly educated and owning solid professional foundation of the new teachers, and less professional training of teachers.This article analysis teachers' characteristics and needs, teachers' professional development content, and the stage, the approaches and strategies of teachers growth seriously. On the basis to china agriculture and forestry universities new teachers, according to its characteristics, this article analyzes teachers' professional development approaches and completes appropriate ones according to their professional philosophy, professional skills and ethics cultivation, in accordance with the object-oriented principles. Then, it conducts a survey for the 2130 new teachers in 33 agricultural and forestry colleges, involving new college teachers training system status and problems, their understanding for professional growth goals and the growth choices. This article puts forward policy proposals and safeguards through the analysis of the professional development theory and the status quo. It includes controlling the recruitment to improve teacher qualification system, clearing the educational goals to create a suitable environment for the growth; stimulating.consciousness to promote their own development.In order to perfect the newly recruited teachers' professional development which is a systems engineering, we need the help of the State, universities, family and all levels of the society, but also requires teachers to give full play to their initiative.
