The Research On The Current Employment Issue Of College Student Of Major In Finance And Economics

The students major in finance and economic accounted for a large proportion in the graduate students every year. Their employment situation has a great influence to the economic raising, the society stable and themselves development. Thought the employment situation of the students major in finance and economic was better than others all the time, they was brought to confront a serious challenge because of the affection of the financial crisis which refers to the global economic enter into a recession, the employee of well-known large companies laid off and a number of small and medium enterprises in China have also plunged into difficulties. Facing the challenge, a part of those students can estimate the current employment situation correctly, change their concept of employment and get jobs using variety of channels. However, there are still many students have a lot of contradictions and problems because of their confused of the serious situation and don't what to do.This paper is mainly making the employment of the specialty finance major college students as the main object of studying. First analyzes the overall employment situation of China's college students, and then analyzes the employment strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the students major in finance and economic, and grasp the current situation of them comprehensively according to the characteristics of the college students major in finance and economic. It analyzes the restrict constraints of college students major in finance and economic in China from the four aspects: the social environment, universities, the enterprises and the students themselves. And the corresponding countermeasures are put forward. The Government should vigorously develop the national economy and enlarge job opportunities. The institutions of higher education should restructure the major setting and make the careers guidance system better. The enterprises should change the concept of employing to provide employment opportunities for college students. The students major in finance and economic should convert their concept of employment and strive to improve their employability to face the challenge positively. In short, the employment of university students itself is a systematic project which relates to government, society, universities and the student individual as well as many other areas."Colleges should bring up the talent; the student should to be the talent, the society should make good using the talent and the government should recruit the talent". Only under the concerted efforts of all aspects can we solve the employment problems in the students major in finance and economic fundamentally.
