Europe is the birthplace of modern football and has a long history of this sport. During the European integration, the level of European football improved a lot through the integration and the drawing lessons from each other [1]. The league of every country especially the five most famous leagues attract some famous football stars to join in and all of it improved the European football. Now, the league is almost perfect and many teams from different countries try their best to win and in some cases pay more attention on it than on their country's league.Taking the kick out of the 08/09 UEFA Champions League as a turning point, this thesis attaches great importance to the application of technical campaign and makes a comparative research. It summarizes the Characteristic of offensive tactics applied by each strong football team in this UEFA Champions League and gets the inspiration. Hopefully it can provide quantitatively theoretical basis to the training and match. With the study of the 29 matches of the elimination game of the Champions League in 08/09 season, this thesis does some researches on the attacking tactics within the 30 meters front of the pitch with the following productions:(1) Within the 30 meters front, the success rate of the pass to the teammate is high. The success rate of pass to the space is lower, but is more likely to award free kick, corner and shooting. (2)Some teams take over the lead at the beginning of the match with appropriate tactics. (3)Because of the rigorous defense, the attack in the 30 meters front of the pitch tends to be simple. If there is no good opportunity, they will kick the ball out of the 30 meters front and organize the attack again which will have a quite high rate to award free kick, corner and shooting but the goal rate is low. (4)The pass two-on-one is convert, its success rate, shoot rate and goal rate is also high. (5)The flanks pass should be used differently in the different situation during the match. (6)Taking a pass during movement has lower failure rate because of the space created by the running.
