| Beizhuang which originated in Henan Province has a long history of 200 years or so.It once exsited widely in Henan and was loved by the majority of working people. However, with reform and opening up of the society and the development of economy, the developmen band trends of Beizhuang are constantly shrinking and losing as a result of socio-economic conditions, state policies, school education, sports and many other modern factors.On October 17, 2003, the 32nd General Assembly of UNESCO adopted the "Convention on the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage." Sport is an integral component of China's socialist cause. Facing the development of traditional sports in the 21st century national intangible cultural heritage , the State Sports General Administration has stated that the new century, countries should strive to protect intangible cultural heritage, traditional sports sustainable development of the project, which will be directly related to the trends of Beizhuang in Song County,Henan.This paper researches Beizhuang through literature, questionnaire, expert interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis and other research methods,By visiting Song County, Luoyang City, Henan Province and studying the Beizhuang activity characters of people involved, value orientation, people's cognition and some objective conditions, it explores the reason for Beizhuang's loss in modern society,At the same time,suggestions and measures are brought up in this paper expecting the protection of the related department and better development of Beizhuang.The results show that: (l) Public participation in Song County of Henan Province characterized by growth in the number of participants increased with age, positively related to the state, the young (especially young) people's lack is especially serious. (2) More men than women participate in the crowd; participants relatively high education level, income is not high. (3) Cognition of the masses through the survey found that people who participated in have a high degree of recognition, but the enthusiasm is not high. (4) Most of the organizational form of participants were organized by the village committee, a small number of voluntary bodies lacking effective management, the physical form of organization is not perfect. (5) The activity funds come from most of the village committee funds and practitioners at their own expense, lack of funds, a single source. (6) Inadequate rural grassroots sports organizations and very few sports clubs in rural areas. (7)The people who participated in are generally old people, lack successors, faced with the risk of lost, lack of effective mechanisms for the inheritance and protection.The reasons are listed as follows: (1) the status of interest on Beizhuang is not enough, the lack of appropriate measures to guide. (2) the spirit of modern sports and the Olympic sports occupy the mainstream of society, attention is not paid to the traditional sports of ethnic , their development are more difficult. (3) The people's lifestyle and changes in ideas such as work pressure, entertainment and people rarely participate in the activities of it. (4) primary farmers do not sound sports organizations. (5) Reserve a lack of talent and professionals. (6) a serious lack of funding makes it more difficult to develop it.Suggestions for the status quo of it: (l) Beizhuang in today's situation of the community is not optimistic, the other traditional sports, there are many similar projects, it should strengthen the national traditional culture, especially the education to the young people .Comprehensive, multi-channel advantage to enhance the value of traditional national sports publicity, promotion, guidance. So it is conducive to traditional national sports fitness activities in return. (2) Increase management and set up a government's macro-management, social organizations, collaborative management system, establish effective social support mechanisms. While also establish and improve policies and regulations to lead to the effective protection and development of it. (3)Update ideas, increase government and private multi-channel input, and create good environment in personnel, technology, facilities, policies and systems,(4) Extensive research and studying the modernization of Beizhuang are the means to develop and protect it.
