| Wheelchair basketball is an important component of sports for people with disability. It is eternal pursue to get victory over oneself for all human beings. Wheelchair Basketball, with the very lighting speed and superb driving technique, has an inexhaustible fascination and show the beauty of fighting and athletics by its challenge of technology and strength. Wheelchair basketball is becoming more and more popular and intense and the wheelchair is becoming more and more advanced along with its development. Wheelchair Basketball has been on the Paralympic Games Programme and improved a lot over the last decades and is becoming one of the favorite sports of spectators on Paralympic Games, because of its intense and exciting.There were 12 wheelchair basketball teams from five continents took part in the thirteenth Paralympic Games which was held in Beijing, 2008. China national Wheelchair basketball team had 5 group games and 2 qualifying games with teams from Britain, Israel, Australia, the United States, Brazil, South Africa and Sweden at group B. As the host of this Paralympic Games, China national wheelchair basketball team communicated with the strongest teams in the world at the biggest stage for the first time. China is the youngest one among all the teams. No matter technique and tactics or spirit, China national wheelchair basketball team made a real impression, besides, there were urgent problems to be solved.The 7 games which China national wheelchair basketball team played in the thirteenth Beijing Paralympic Games were researched in this study, to compare and analyze the utilize of technique and tactics, by the literature research, video analysis, expert interview, comparative analysis and statistics method of both offense and defense of China and its competitors. Match Statistics of international wheelchair basketball was used to compare and analyze the wheelchair basketball games in this Paralympic Game, in order to make this study more comprehensive and substantial. China national wheelchair basketball team had low goal attempts, hit rate and offence rebounds, but high turnovers, according to the Match Statistics. The team need overall combat capability under high-intensity combat and experience of competition with strong brigades in the world. Aiming at the solution of problems of physical quality in this Games and the fit of the development tendency of wheelchair basketball games, there are some opinions and suggests:1. Physical quality of China national wheelchair basketball team needs to be improved, because it falls behind other teams over the world. Special physical quality training was called to be combined with the physical condition of players and to become close to the features of wheelchair basketball. Reduce invalid training.2. The capability of utilize of technique and tactics under high-intensity combat need to be improved. Chinese players have weakness at opposability, so he training is called to seize the characteristic of opposability of Wheelchair basketball, strengthen the capability of driving the Wheelchair.3. The level of technique and tactics need to be improved. The medical integration cannot be more than 14, according to the wheelchair basketball rules. As the extent of disability will has influence on flexibility, vision and strength, therefore, only the cooperation of the whole team can improve both defense and offense capabilities.4. Outside communication should be strengthened to improve the experience of team. In order to get better achievement, young players with high potential should be sent abroad to be trained in league matches of high level. In the long term, it is necessary for China national Wheelchair basketball team to make the opportunity to communicate with the strongest teams in the world and improve the experience.
