Research On Sustainable Financial Development Of Chinese Public Universities

In recent years, with the higher education reform, more and more attention is paid to university. China has launched the educational system reform. Many fields on finance for public universities have reached to obvious success. However, the surrounding of managing finance is changing. It is difficulty for a public university to adopt rapid changes of the society. We can see more failure financial phenomenon of the public universities. To the decision makers, it is an arduous problem to promote companies'abilities, to keep the challenging advantages and to realize sustainable development.For the development of higher education, it's very important to bring forward the sustainable development. This paper finds out the relationship between university finance and sustainable development. Meanwhile, according to the financial problems, it also provides effective countermeasures on those problems.First, this paper introduces the basic theories and concepts laying a solid theoretical foundation for the following research. Second, by studying some articles, this paper sums up four main financial problems about public universities, and analyzes the influencing factors leading to them. Third, this paper establishes a system of financial sustainable development which includes four sections. It analyzes strategic environment by SWOT and applies the principles based on sustainable development to forecast model; public universities should enhance the budget administration and internal control system to promote the efficiency of using capital and avoid corruption. Last, giving A college an example. The paper analyses the problems about current financial problems in order to reach to the sustainable financial development of universities.This paper aims to suggest the supervisors in public universities should consider the facts to improve the present financial management, so as to direct public universities to walk up to healthy and sustained way.
