Study About Coordination Degree Of Population, Resources, Environment And Economy Of Yunnan

The theme of the global economic development of the 21st century is the sustainable development of the world, therefore the main problems countries facing is how to coordinate the relation between population, resources and environment, and economy. Yunnan province in southwestern China's territory, is a natural resources frontier province. Has been in Yunnan province, the relationship between people and land, also between development and environment protection has increasingly contradicted, the reason is particularly prominent contradiction of natural factors and human factors. Population increase and economic development make the more and more pressure which resources and environment faces. How to evaluate and better promote the coordinated development between population, resources and environment, and the regional economy of Yunnan province is the crucial of Sustainable Development of Yunnan.This paper based on the definition of related concepts and the elaboration on research both at home and abroad, and describes the status quo and the interaction mechanism between population, resources, environment and regional economic development of Yunnan province. Secondly, according to the area features of Yunnan, and following the principle of science, operability, regional and comprehensive, establish the evaluation system of the coordination degree between population, resources and environment, and regional economic in Yunnan province. Based on the coordination model which developed by Wang Weiguo (1995), this paper developed a multi-system coordination model, and using the method of principal component analysis to evaluate the coordinated development on population, resource and environment, and regional economic in Yunnan province. Finally, based on the results of analysis, policy measures can be put forward to promote coordinated development of Yunnan province.The conclusions are as follows: The degree of coordination between population, resources and environment and regional economic of Yunnan province is gradually improved, which has changed from high degree of disorder to high degree of coordination. The reasons of high degree of disorder lie in that the rapid population growth rate has restricted the growth rate of Economic, moreover, extensive economic growth mode make the growing pressures to the status of resources and environment . But along with Rapid economic growth and which mode changing from the extensive type to the content type, and enhanced awareness of environmental protection and therefore increased investment for it make the pressure eased and gradual improvement in the coordination degree. But in spite of it, with the acceleration of economic growth, the Pressure has also been showing.
