Chinese Civil Participation In Urban Governance

With the development of urban area, many big cities own a new development, the policy of the city change to city administration. The basic element of city administration is civil participation. In the development of the city, requirement of citizens grows up. The formulation and execution of policy in the citizens changes a lot. All of these require the leaders of city increase participation in order to better co-ordination of policy. Civil participation in urban governance is important in the process of the whole governance, only civil participation in all-round development can made further development of urban governance. This article uses the theory of administration and many methods to make research of civil participation. It also analyses the importance, the present situation, the reason and questions in civil participation and puts forward some countermeasures.In our country's city administration, civil participation is lack of participation and response. There are also many restrict factors in civil participation.From the current situation, we can see civil participation in our country has made some achievements. But overall, the current civil participation belongs to the implementation of decisions after the decision-making participation; it is also low level participation. This article mainly analyses the particularity and importance in civil participation, this article also analyses the reasons of questions in civil participation which combine with actual case. Although there is many methods in civil participation, questions which reason is participation subject in participation. How to promote civil participation in urban governance, establish and improve mechanisms for civil participation is a problem in urban development. Only further improvement of civil participation in urban governance can make city develop.
