| linguistic environment, stylistic character and pragmatics of TV-news broadcast have been systematically analyzed, which forms the basis for the optimization of Composite TV-news broadcast. It is concluded that linguistic environment, including macro-, mediumatic- and micro- linguistic environment, is an important factor affecting TV-news broadcast; linguistic character is determined by not only written news report and broadcast of various kinds but also their relationship, namaly, broadcast should always be based on written news report; pragmatics, including linguistic character, linguistic skills and other related factor, should always be complied with in news broadcasting. Moreover, in- depth understanding and knowledge of these issues are crucial for the optimization of Composite TV-news Broadcasting.
