A Research On Abstract Agent And Information Mode In Integrated Network Management System

With the interconnection of isomerous networks, integrated network management becomes one of the research focuses. Several popular network management frames have their inherent limits in applications. So they cannot control efficiently complexity of isomerous networks management.This paper discussed a new frame for integrated network management, and proposed the concepts about abstract agent > virtual network and abstract management information mode. This frame retained the original network management system, and added a super layer manager. Abstract agent screens the differentials of technical system of managed networks and differentials of network management systems.This paper proposed yet the theory of abstracting in terms of layers for network element layer and network service layer's information model integrating.In order to meet the needs of management, the paper researched the services for super manager provided by abstract agent. Through introducing the concepts of coarse CORBA interface and fa9ade design mode, proposed the scheme of two abstract agent's service ends presenting the facades for respective clients.
