Based on the synthesis of the research results and on the analysis of correlative technologies in the area of the remote cooperation design, a scheme of remote cooperation design - an engineering design system based on ASP is brought out here. The system is based on the three-tier client/server model, and built in the ASP environment. The part of design is implemented by component; the database of the system is established in SQL Server. The remote acquiring design program is carried out; the remote acquiring distributed knowledge resource is primitive achieved; cooperation is initially implemented in the system.In chapter One, the background, purpose and significance of the subject are introduced; the history and recent study situation of the remote cooperation design is reviewed; and the main research tasks are list.In chapter Two, the involved techniques of the remote cooperation design are summed up and analyzed.In chapter Three, a scheme of remote cooperation design梐n engineering design system based on ASP is brought out here. The system is based on the three-tier client/server model, and built in the ASP environment. The part of design is implemented by component; the database of the system is established in SQL Server. And the constitute parts of the system are indicated. The asp technique and its development tool桰nterDev are described. The component technique and its development method and process are discussed.In chapter Four, the layout of the system including the design of web station, homepage and database is brought out. With the analysis of Remote requiring process and the study of remote requiring resource, cooperation tools and the member of design group, a valid method is carried out and executed by the program. A solution of system security was put forward.In chapter Five, by the typical examples of machinery directory, the design parameters of vee belt, flat belt and timing-belt transmission are input in the system. The validity and maneuverability of the system are proved.In chapter Six, the conclusions of whole thesis are summarized, and the future research project of the subject is proposed.
