The Research And Manufacture On High Speed Cable Telemetry System Of Petroleum Exploration Instrument

The design of high-speed cable telemetry system which be used in petroleum exploration well logging and how it be realized is be introduced in this thesis. After review the developing history of well logging data transmission system and OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology, the principle, design theory and characteristic of OFDM has been studied in detail. Specially, the key technology of OFDM-encode and decode, synchronization, equalization has beenanalyzed and the detailed arithmetic also has been given out. On the base of this,high- speed cable telemetry system has been designed. According to the requirements and the data flow analysis of high-speed cable telemetry system and the requirements of different kinds well logging down hole tools,in order to meet the needs of the image well logging system,the data protocol had been designed. After compare kinds of design,the OFDM knowledge be adopted to use in high- speed data transmission system and this system has been designed. According to the requirement of different parts of the telemetry system and the agreement of surface system between the down hole tools,VME bus and OFDM and 1553 bus technology has been chosen,with emphasis on analyzing the theory and realization of OFDM,and given the structure and the result. The characteristic of this thesis is the special design data transmission agreement for the logging system which be made in China,and also it can meet the needs of the new system developing and it can compatible the old version system. Through the analysis the characteristic of cable transmission,it is the first time for using the OFDM in the high speed cable telemetry system,and has given the result of this realized system.
