The Application Of Data Warehouse And Decision Support System In Police Information Construction

In this dissertation, some optimum methods are presented by means of On Line Analytical Processing and Data Mining methods according to the development technology for the characteristic of police information.The main achievements are as follow:1. This dissertation put forward the police model of data warehouse. Furthermore, their structure and function are also discussed according to the primary characters and data organization form of police information.2. During the construction of police data warehouse, two analysis technologies are applied. One is On Line Analytical Processing, the other is Data Mining OLAP is used to validate, and DM is often used to forecast. This dissertation illustrate the basic operation of OLAP, and expatiate the advantages of building the police data warehouse by using the combination of MOLAP and ROLAP. It is also put forward the police method of Data Mining based on the characters of police Data Mining.3. This dissertation put forward the design of resolve in the police information, which is combining Data Warehouse, OLAP, Data Mining, according to synthesizing the knowledge mentioned in the front, and combine the knowledge of DSS.4. A practice application for the police circs, Data Warehouse, OLAP and Data Mining are put forward. This application has already gained affirmation from all circs.
