WWW Based Remote Fault Diagnosis System

Locale based equipment fault diagnosis system is so close that fault diagnosis and maintaining are restricted by human, place and technology. Now, Internet technology is in fast developing, and web has been the primary way of information transmission, so setting up WWW Based Remote Paul diagnosis System(RFDS) by combining equipment fault diagnosis technology and Internet technology is available.This dissertation brings forward the idea of integrating ActiveX control technology, web database technology and callcenter technology to set up WWW based RFDS. In addition, it sets up the www-based remote fault diagnose prototype system for the intensity modulated spiral-multi-tomotherapy equipment. The main parts of this dissertation are as follows.Considering the requestments of RFDS, it selects the B/S system structure to set up the remote fault diagnosis prototype system for the intensity modulated spiral-multi-tomotherapy equipment after comparing the characters of C/S system and B/S system. After that, it introduces the composition and working principle of this system. In order to implement the double-direction data exchanging between remote faul diagnosis center and the locale, an activeX control for remote gathering data must be made. So this dissertation expatiates the application of ActiveX control technology in RFDS, including the design, implementation and use of the data-gathering ActiveX control in this system. In order to storage the information for RFDS, web-based database is also used in this system. So, this dissertation also introduces the applicatipon of web-baseddatabase technology in RDFS. It simply discusses the secrity and secrecy problems of WWW-based RFDS, and gives out some settlements in these aspects, such as Web server security, ASP script security, SQL SERVER acssesing security and using of ActiveX control security.As we know, "Service" is the kernel of callcenter, so, applying callcenter technology in RFDS can provide more service, not only remote fault diagnosis, but also maintaining for users. This dissertation introduces the callcenter technology in brief, and shows the avability and advantages of applyingcallcenter technology in RFDS. Besides, it also gives out some examples to show how to apply the callcenter thchnology in RFDS. As we know, applying callcenter technology in RFDS is some new at the present time; this dissertation only does some elementary work by now, so there is more work to do for future.
