Researches On The Heterogeneous Data Integration System And Its Supporting Tools Prototype

In this paper we first introduce the background of heterogeneous data integration system and the related concepts. The following is the detailed introduction of our works on CORBA-based heterogeneous data integration system,including the Uniform Data Model,UDM-QL and the system architecture etc. Also in this kernel part we discuss the success we have achieved as well as the works we plan to do in future. Also in this paper we put forward some new concepts as heterogeneous data directory service and heterogeneous data client program and so on which provide a new idea and method on the research of the information system heterogeneous data integration.
