Research Of Product Data Management (PDM) System Facing Small And Middle Enterprise

Product Data Management is a technology that manages all datum and process of related product. In this paper, PDM's start, development and evolvement is expatiated. Related technology and theories that support PDM are introduced.The characteristic of PDM System that small and middle enterprise need is analyzed in this thesis. Then, on the basis, frame of that sort of enterprise PDM System is founded. In order to realizing the system, models are built, database structure is designed, and programs are written, user management, item management, document management and product structure and configuration management are built.First general product structure tree is founded. Then, on the basis of the tree, especial product is configured.
