The Research And Development Of Policy-Based Network Performance Measure System

With fast development of the Internet, the heterogeneity of network bring forward a demand that test hosts should have capacity to configure test contents and measures dynamically and automatically in accord to network administrators' policies and intentions, which can ensure normal running of networks. This paper introduces policy-based management into network performance measure systems, and makes some in-depth research to the policies description, delivery, match and collision. The author implemented the policy management module and an Email measuring subsystem that was applied in some network measuring and optimizing projects.
