The Research For Application Of Active Directory In The Email Management System

This paper first introduces the situation of the Email Management System (EMS), points out that there are some insufficient in the server point of EMS, for example, the management of mailbox, the management of property for user and the issue and resume of the EMS, considers that the rising of the Active Directory offers the possibility for settling these problems.Next, this paper expounds the principle and the structure and the programming methods of Active Directory, designs and realizes a EMS combined closely with the Active Directory. This paper achieves some new functions using the advantages of Active Directory and VBScript in this system, settles the shortcomings of the former EMS, strengthens the function of the system, heightens the efficiency of manager, makes things convenient for the user.At last, this paper puts forward several new functions. The realizing of iTthese functions will be sure to enriching and perfecting the EMS itself further.This paper also probes into the security of the EMS, points out that a fine EMS must have a perfect institution and a tight defensive measure.
