Study On Ethical Modulation Of Network Publishing

Network Publishing appears as a new publishing mode based on the gradual net-popularity and advanced network publishing technology. It has realized digitalization and networking, through the marketing process from product pattern to circulating mode, then to paying mode, which effects the 'traditional publishing violently. Publishing now is welcoming a new era of Network Publishing following Desktop Publishing and Web Publishing.As a newly-developed phenomenon, different from the traditional publishing, Network Publishing is characterized by rebellion. In other words, network publisher can publish his own works freely in a virtual net environment, which transcends the time-and-space concept as well as the barrier of systematization. It is the rebellious character that leads to some ethical problems in its real processing. To solve these problems, most domestic scholars intend to research in the prospective of technology or law; however, researching from ethical perspective will be a beneficial supplement to the present research.This article focuses on how to ethically modulate Network Publishing mainly in two respects, that is, individual management and social management. In viewr of the former one, first, with the purpose of perfecting socialist ethica' system and ensuring the sound and orderly development of network publishing, and combined with the networking characters, it reforms the traditional publishing ethical principle and establish a new one of Network Publishing. Then based on the reality of domestic network publishing technology development and the characters of ethics, also learning from established ethical norms home and abroad, it put forwards the ethical norms of the present domestic network publishing. At last, according to the difference from traditional publishing, it put forwards the content of carrying out network publishing ethic education, as well as the ways it should take. As a supplement, this article also put forwards some subsidiary mechanisms of network publishing ethic education, according to the social ethical requirement, so as to implement the security links of network publishing ethical modulation.
