As times to go, many wireless and mobile devices come into being, such as PDAs, laptaps and etc. We can get much benefit from these devices in our living. But these devices have little or limited local resource such as cpu, memory, storage, bandwidth and etc. It make impossible to run compute while needs much resource on these devices. Grid computing is one of the best hot field in computer research. It provides one executable method to share computer resource on the whole network. Mobile devices can complete sophisticated computing through sharing computer resource on the Grid or provide own limited but growing local resource to the network for sharing by other users. How can the mobile devices communicate with Grid? A good candidate is the Jini. Jini is one kind of distributed infrastructure based on Java. Using it, we can define, lookup, and using network services and can easily implement the communication between mobile devices and Grid and allow the mobile devices to join the Grid and share the abundant computer resource in this large virtual computer. In this article, it will introduce the concept of the Grid and related technology and discuss how to make the mobile devices to share the computer resource on the Grid. Finally, it will introduce a practicable model and part of it's implement.
