The Study On Applycation Of Knowledge Management For CIMS In Process Industry

This paper mainly discuss that as the mode of economy is changing and knowledge becomes the important input and output factor of the enterprise, the theory base, methods and practice scheme of knowledge management for CIMS in the process industry, it also discuss the realization of knowledge management in a oil-refining enterprise's CIMS. The main works of this paper is as bellows:1. This paper summarizes the developing conditions of CIMS and knowledge management, introduces the concept and functions of knowledge management,explains the relationship of knowledge management and information management and discusses the advantage of knowledge management in CIMS compared with information management.2. It discusses the key technologies of application of knowledge management for CIMS in process industry, which includes Data Mining, Searching Engine and the construction of Knowledge Database. Data Mining is the beginning of knowledge management system, it provides knowledge for the knowledge management; Searching Engine provides a tool for knowledge users to search knowledge and rapidly get the knowledge that they need; Knowledge Database is the base of knowledge management system, it stores knowledge from Data Mining and provides it to Searching Engine.3. It brings forward the architecture of knowledge management based on CIMS in process industry combing with the architecture of CIMS in process industry. The architecture of CIMS in process industry in advanced industry countries has turned from the five-layer Purdue model to the flat three-layer ERP/MES/PCS structure. As the producing-process-supporting system in layer MES, knowledge management is the base of all the application and management systems in layer MES, its function is to mining and finding knowledge from producing-processinformation and support the management of producing process from all aspects.4. It discusses the practice scheme of knowledge management for CIMS in process industry, which includes two aspects: one on the information technologies, realize the hardware requirement and so on; the other on the organize structure and enterprise's culture of the enterprise, which includes the changing of enterprise's structure, perfecting the encouragement mechanism.5. It analyzes the designing process and methods of the Shop Information Integration System of Fujian's oil-refining enterprise, introduces the functions of departments of the system, thereinto particularly introduces the designing courses and illumination of the cost management module and fatherly discusses the cost control and management combined with knowledge management.
