| Product is the core of all activities in manufacturing industry. The product configuration, which is used to describe the product components, is the key of integrating the information, function and process for the enterprise. During the data flow in the whole life of the product i.e. designing, manufacturing, assembling, maintaining and abolishing, the bill of materials is the important foundation of transforming and modifying the information.According to the ideas mentioned above, the author focuses the system integration of ERP and PDM, puts main efforts on establishing the model of the product structure and its configuration, and drawing the bill of materials automatically. The following innovative results have been obtained in the research:The structure, functions and division of the modules in integrating ERP and PDM have been proposed.The author analyzed the technology in the system integration of ERP and PDM, described the characteristics, functions, systematic structures, common points and different points of the two systems, pointed out the content and objects of the integration. The limitation and shortage of applying schemes at home and abroad for resolving the problems in the integration are summed up. Based on the experience of implementing ERP system, the author design and develop a new advanced and feasible scheme for the integration of ERP and PDM.Based on the solution for integration of ERP and PDM, the model of the product structure and its configuration is established.For organizing activities in manufacturing, the enterprise needs precise information about the product configuration. BOM plays an important role in collaborating all departments of the enterprise as the list of the information that describes the detail of products. According to practical conditions of the enterprise, in which spare parts, standardparts, alternate and substitute parts and so on are considered, the author designs the model of data integration, which supports multiple approaches of the arrangement such as the consolidation and querying, add, delete and modify.Apply ERP system in the enterprise.The ERP system adopts the double layer model- C/S as the structure, C++Builder as IDE, and SQL SERVER2000 as background database server. The system consists of producing management, storage management, quality management, planning management, purchase management, sales management and basic data management etc. The author has developed the models of data management and producing management in this system.Develop the core of product structure configuration-BOM management.The key technology of BOM management is described. BOM is an important part of the enterprise information, and BOM configuration management is the primary technology of BOM. By means of configuration management system, the author carried out multi-view BOM management, Engineering change management and version management in ERP system. |
