The system of radar antenna controller is used to control the movement of radar antenna, which can realize to search, capture, track the targets and transfer the data of radar azimuth angle and high-low angle to computer. In manner of the self-machine and remote control operation, the system can achieve the scanning of fixed and random curve. The system can be used to scan, detect, and track all kinds of antennas and sensors. Furthermore, the system can also be used of pointing watch, scanning watch and real-time register in some occasion.The system is mainly made of antenna seat and antenna controller. The antenna seat adopts humorous wave technique and can be directly connected with special computer and achieve numeric control, which has high resolving power of scanning and exact orientation. The antenna controller uses the high performance and steady and reliable 8098 SCM as the core. The paper gives the hardware and software design of driving system, and is qualified the step motor drivers of high-integrated body, so the holistic control of system is completed and control requirement of all kinds of function are realized. In the power-amplifying grade of drive circuit, the system adopts a method of high/low voltage drive that is different to the conventional drivers. So the high frequency performance of the system is improved and the load support capability of step motor is increased. By the software method, the control principle of the optimumincreasing/decreasing frequency of step motor is achieved. So the fast starting/stopping control of step motor is realized.
