| In this paper a wireless microwave power transmission and communication system has been analyzed in theory, then built and tested with hardware. The system can accomplish wireless power supply in the industrial field for the equipment of data collection and data transmission and bi-directional wireless communication of control signals and data collected from the field in the same time. It is well known that there are large amounts of data lines and power lines of apparatus in the industrial field. This condition can be dramatically changed by the implementation of this system. The idea of design is centered on two aspects: wireless power transmission and wireless data transmission, which are considered respectively and systematically.The theory of wireless power transmission (WPT) and wireless communication and the design of wireless transceiver are discussed first. Then according to the requirements of the system, a wireless microwave power transmission system operating at the frequency of 8.2GHz is outlined and in-detail analysis and parameter computation are carried out. The timing information of the system is considered and the software structure is presented. Then an experimental model is constructed based on the hardware realization of all modules. Test and modification of wireless microwave power transmission system and wireless control signal communication system are carried out. Experimental data are obtained and feasibility of the system is verified. While Defectives have been found in the wireless control signal communication system, further improvement suggestions are presented. |
