Research On Foreign Fiber Detecting System And Realization Of Its Software

Though the proportion of foreign fiber in cotton is little, it does great harm to thecotton. Foreign Fiber Detecting System is used to detecting and cleaning out foreignfiber. It can overcome a serial of shortcomings such as low efficiency and loweligibility rate when cleaning out foreign fiber manually. This article discusses aboutforeign detecting technology and foreign detecting system, especially the reality of thesystem. The image processing mathematic model is established by strictly proving.And the image processing algorithm which uses fewer times of add-operations to takeplace of more times of multiplication is raised. By strictly proving with mathematicapproach, the mathematic model and algorithm establish a comparatively impersonalevaluating system which benefits the reality of standardization a lot. The main frame and other models, included training model, of the system aredeveloped in Delphi 6.0 programming circumstances of the industry controllingmachine. Testing model is to realize real time digital processing, and has beendebugged with the whole system separately by 32 bit DSP TMS320C6201 of TI and32 bit DSP ADSP-21535 of AD. It can be concluded from the experiment that theparameters of the system such as reliability and speed have meet the need of industry,and that the mathematic model and algorithm of the article have met the need ofaccuracy and real time of the system and have practical value. The mathematic model, algorithm and development experience of ForeignFiber Detecting System in the article can also migrate and apply to otherprojects, especially projects of textile field.
