Design of General Atmosphere Pre-alarm SystemGenerally speaking, traditional pre-alarm system is an alarm equipment linked with a single test equipment directly. It can only analysis and process the signal data which examined by the test equipment. Because of this structure, the signals be examined are unitary, the system expandability is poor, and the distance of communication is limited short. That causes the system is not widely use.In this paper, I'll introduce a general pre-alarm system mainly collect the atmosphere parameters.The general pre-alarm system was divided into two components: the hardware system and the software system.The hardware system: It structured a RS485 communication network by the serial RS485 communication standard, what is widely applied in the industry communication field all over the world. Compared to the traditional serial RS232 communication standard, the serial RS485 communication standard extremely improves the ability of communication, extends the distance of communication and enhance the quality of communication.The software system: The MMI (Men and Machine Interface) software, what is popularly applied around the world, was adopted to the software system. The drive programs of serial equipments were developed on the base of MMI software and so the base development of the software. In database module the ODBC (Open Database Connectivity)Abstracttechnology was used to link the Microsoft ?ACCESS database files that is exterior data source. The user interface module widely adopted graphs and key maps etc, thus users can manipulate it more directly and conveniently.Having been debugged with combined with all the relational equipments, the system was proved running stability, and the records of database were all right. The requirements of design were achieved. Since the pre-alarm system is very good expandable, it will certainly produce considerable social and economic benefits.
